Advancing Agriculture is a collective voice to help advance modern agriculture in Canada. It is a partnership between Canada’s plant science industry, agriculture associations and grower groups:
CropLife Canada is the trade association representing the Canadian manufacturers, developers and distributors of pesticides and plant breeding innovations. We work to enable the plant science industry to advance sustainability and competitiveness through acceptance of its technologies to the Canadian and international marketplace.
Canadian Canola Growers Association (CCGA) has been at the forefront of driving change for canola farmers, representing their interests on national and international agricultural issues, programs and policies. As the national policy voice for Canada’s 43,000 canola farmers, CCGA enhances farm competitiveness by conducting in-depth policy analysis and advocating for policy, regulatory and legislative changes that that impact farm profitability.
The Canola Council is the first industry association in Canada to encompass all links in the value chain. At the Canola Council, growers, life science companies, grain handling companies, exporters, processors, as well as food and feed manufacturers all sit at the same table to develop a common platform for growth.
Grain Growers of Canada is the national voice of grain farmers from coast to coast. Representing over 65,000 farmers through 15 national, regional and provincial grower groups. As the farmer-driven association for the grains industry, GGC advocates for the federal government to take decisions that support the competitiveness and profitability of grain growers across Canada.
The Canada Grains Council is the national organization representing the interests of the Canadian grain, oilseed, pulse and special crop sectors. Our members represent the entire value chain, including Canadian growers, seed and life science companies, commodity associations, grain companies and public research institutions. Formed in 1969 to co-ordinate efforts to increase the sale and use of Canadian grain in domestic and world markets, the Council has become the leading recognized forum of the grain industry, in Canada and around the world.
The Canadian Produce Marketing Association (CPMA) is a not-for-profit organization that represents companies across the fresh produce supply chain, from the farm gate to the dinner plate, that are responsible for 90% of fresh fruit and vegetables sales in Canada. CPMA's vision is to enable and lead the produce industry by enhancing the market and facilitating trade of fresh fruits and vegetables for its members.
Cereals Canada is a national, not-for-profit, industry association representing the Canadian cereal grains value chain. Our organization is dedicated to supporting the Canadian cereals value chain (farmers, exporters, developers and processors) and our customers around the world. We are committed to providing timely, expert technical information, delivered with a best-in-class customer experience. As the united voice for Cereals Canada, we are a powerful advocate and must continue to strengthen our relationships with governments and stakeholders, particularly on issues of trade, science and sustainability.
